Coming into our 25th year of operation, WEST Consultants, Inc. expands to the east coast, opening an office in Laytonsville, Maryland.  The office will be led by David Preusch, PE, PH, CFM, D.WRE who brings more than 33 years of experience in water resources planning and engineering involving surface waters for flood control, bridge design, water quality, recreation, dam safety, water supply, quantitative and qualitative stormwater management, hydroelectric power, and land-use planning and development.

David C. Curtis, Ph.D. has been appointed to a three-year term on the California Department of Water Resources’ (DWR) Climate Change Technical Advisory Group (CCTAG).  Curtis joins experts from both the public and private sectors and academia as a panelist responsible for advising DWR on the scientific aspects of climate change, its impacts on water resources, the use and creation of planning approaches and analytical tools, and the development of adaptation responses for California’s water sector.

Brian Wahlin, Ph.D., P.E., D.WRE of WEST Consultants, Inc. has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Committee on Irrigation and Drainage (USCID) in Denver, Colorado.
