U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Live – Face the Storm: Building Resilient Coastal Networks (Virtual)

Hurricanes are increasing in frequency, and this season has been particularly active. As we near the end of this season, we will welcome Dr. Wamsley, Director of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, to discuss research aimed at solving the challenges these powerful storms pose.

Much of the discussion will focus on the vital research projects under way at CHL, especially those focused on innovative methods to forecast storm events, model a storm’s impact, mitigate the storm’s effects and develop a more resilient coastal network.
