Riprap Design System
Riprap Design System (RDS) Version 3.0 provides guidance in sizing riprap for the protection and stabilization of river banks and beds. RDS incorporates the latest criteria from the following seven riprap design methods:
- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
- American Society of Civil Engineers
- U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
- U.S. Geological Survey
- Isbash
- California Bank and Shore Protection Manual
- Federal Highway Administration
RDS comes with a well-designed, easy-to-use graphical interface. A single execution will allow the user to quickly compare resulting required riprap sizes.
